My Oscars Best-Dressed Picks
I woke up extra early this morning to prepare my Red Carpet breakfast and set-up my laptop in the living room so that I could document the Oscars best-dressed. This event is THE fashion Olympics so preparation is key! So exciting!

I have to say, this year’s Oscars gown choices are exciting!
According to StyleBible, “@stylebibleph: It seems the gals are having more fun with their frocks this year. It’s a little less serious; nice! #Oscars2012”
I agree!
Here are my girls:
Ladies, gentlemen and gays, presenting, our fashion caped-crusader… Gwyneth Paltrow in a white Tom Ford creation!
Oh Gwynie, you are my fashion hero!

Rooney Mara just gave the fashion industry goosebumps with her Givenchy Couture choice! She is the epitome of modern glamour!
Nina Garcia described Rooney Mara’s style the best — “Audrey Hepburn gone punk!”

I love her signature fierce bangs and strong brows as well as her classic red lips and timeless bun. The look is directional.

Jessica Chastain in McQueen, FTW! I love that she chose a fierce gown for the Red Carpet!

When you’re up against glamazons like Gwyneth, Cameron, and Angelina on the Red Carpet, adorable and cute is the way to go! I love Michelle William’s coral Louis Vuitton peplum gown and fuchsia croc clutch!
Her ultimate style arsenal though is her pixie hair cut!

Red Carpet virgin, Milla Jovovich in Eli Saab’s Haute Couture collection.
Milla quipped, “I want to glow, shine but just right… It’s my first time… It’s like I’m a [Red Carpet] bride.” Haha!

Celebrate talent and style! Octavia Spencer looks fabulous in a sequined gold Tadashi Shoji gown.
Embrace your curves!

Oh Glenn Close, you give hope to women of all shapes and sizes! I love her Zac Posen tuxedo jacket and fishtail gown combo!
Love her hair and makeup too!

Wit and style are deadly combo! Tina Fey’s best look ever! Her custom Carolina Herrera catapulted her to the Best-Dressed category!
Ubusan ng peplum gown!

California goddess, Cameron Diaz’ style is always unexpected yet fabulous! She wore Gucci for the Red Carpet.
With a golden tan and a fit body, one can do no wrong!

Angelina Jolie’s Versace gown isn’t the most creative, but that thigh-high slit and pose (check out “Angelina’s leg” Twitter account: @AngiesRightLeg) will certainly be remembered.
Oh, and Brad, you’re perfect.

I love Emma Stone! Her gown maybe similar to Nicole Kidman’s 2007 Oscar Balenciaga gown, but she rocked it better! Did you watch her presenter’s bit on stage with Ben Stiller? She was hilarious!

Penelope Cruz looks like an Old Hollywood movie star in Armani Privé. It’s the first time I’ve seen her in pin curls—very classy.

I love the gowns! I love watching the Oscars! It’s truly the greatest show on Earth!
